Maldives win the 3rd place match of the FAS International Women’s Quadrangular 2018.
Maldives won the third place match against Indonesia 2-1 on penalties. Having lost to hosts Singapore 0-1 in the semi finals, Maldives played against an Indonesian side that lost to Luxembourg 0-1.
After drawing 0-0, the match went to penalties and Maldives clinched their first ever Women's football medal. Luxembourg later beat the hosts Singapore 4-0 to win the UEFA approved FAS International Women’s Quadrangular 2018.
