New Radiant has been suspended from all FAM activities due to unpaid salaries.
According to the Football Association of Maldives press release, New Radiant has had several chances to address the issue. MVR 3.8 million in unpaid salary has been filed by atleast ten players since May last year. Some of the notable players being Dhagandey(Ali Ashfaq) Imma(Imran Mohamed) and their foreign player Amiri.
The decision to ban New Radiant is an agreed upon by all the members of the Executive committee.
At the moment New Radiant is preparing their squad for the Under 21 Youth Championship.
