Maldives has ended contract of the national football team after failing to win any match in the SAFF Games.
In a tweet Bassam Adheel Jalil broke the news that they have infact ended the contract with the Croatian tactician.
"Upon discussion with the Head Coach, we have come to an amicable agreement to end the contract between him and @MaldivesFA effective immediate. Thanking him on behalf of the football family for the success & the development. Wish him all the best in his future endeavors" Bassam Tweeted.
After winning the SAFF Suzuki Cup, Segrt has seen some very poor performances including a 1-2 loss to Bhutan.
