Valencia has announced that Akram Abdul Ghani(Aku) signed with the club.
Maldives National captain who played for TC Sports Club is Valencia's first major signing of the season. Valencia celebrating their 41st anniversary today announced some of their signings including teenage prodigy Ismail Zaan Amir.
The versatile leader is one of the leading football players in the Maldives. Aku has played for Club Valencia on three occasions before. In 2016 Aku won the FA Cup with Club Valencia.
Aku is best known as the second Maldivian Captain to lift the SAFF Cup. In 2018, Captain Aku lifted the SAFF Suzuki Cup winning. His brother, Assad Abdul Ghani lifted the first ever SAFF Championship for Maldives in 2008.
