Recovering from an anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injury, Ahmed Usam(Kalhoo) is expected to be available to play at the end of the year.
Former BG Sports, Nilandhoo FC and Foakaidhoo FC striker underwent the ACL surgery in Maldives under the well known surgeon Dr. Hussain Shakeel. Kalhoo last played for Nilandhoo FC in the Dhivehi Premier League of 2019. Kalhoo is well known for his acrobatic finishing and hard work on the pitch.
ADK Hospitals have successfully operated on several national players under the leadership of Dr. Shakeel including legendary player Ali Ashfaq(Dhagandey), Asadullah Abdullah(Asakko), Jailam Mohamed(Oggy), Mohamed Naim and Rilwan Waheed(Riley) among others.
