Maldives national team has started their practice in Qatar.
Maldives squad is currently camping in Qatar in preparation for the upcoming SAFF Championship 2021. Maldives without their head-coach Ali Suzain is working with Da Grande coach Ismail Mahfooz(Imma). Coach Ali Suzain tested positive to Covid-19 will rejoin the squad as soon as possible. Maldives starts practice with negative Covid-19 test results for all remaining staff and players.
Maldives will kick-off the campaign against Nepal in Male' on the 1st of October. Maldives' semi-final opponent in their 2018 SAFF Championship winning campaign, Nepal are also camping in the middle-east. Nepal will travel directly to Male' in time for their first match.
