Club Green Streets have eased to a comfortable win over Da Grande in the opening game of the Presidents Cup. Since the president cup came to a halt in 2017 this was the first time in five years that the prestigious tournament is played.
Dragons closed the first half with a one goal lead and began the second half strong and went on to fire four more goals before the second 45 came to a close.
Abdullah Yameen drew first blood in the 11th minute of the game. Ansar Ibrahim fired early in the second half to make it 2-0. Yameen grabbed his second of the match in the 68th minute of the game to make it 3-0. Two minutes later Mohamed Saaif made it four goals to nil with a header. Captain Rilwan Waheed closed the scoring with a long range shot from outside the box.
In tonight's President Cup fixture Club Valencia take on United Victory.
