Ibrahim Atheeg scored the only goal of the game as Super United Sports registered their first win in the Dhivehi Premier League.
Just twenty minutes into the game, Atheeg flicked the ball into the net from a Yashfaadh Habeeb shot. Though Green Streets had a lot of the ball, SUS looked the more dangerous side.
Calls for a penalty was waved away as goalkeeper Mohamed Shafeeu (Cech) ran into Hussain Fazeel(Bofi) from a Rilwan Waheed(Riley) freekick. Captain Riley was given a second yellow card and was sent off in the heated match that ended 1-0.
The win takes SUS into 6th position. More misery for Club Green Streets as they remain in the 5th position after two consecutive defeats.
